Investigation Evaluation and Reflection

I feel that the research when well although I try to not go to in depth with the design research because I feel that if I see too much design it would be harder to come up with an original idea. I suppose I didn't take the initial research too serious because to me initial research is just searching for ideas and inspiration.

What I learn while during initial research is that a lot of ideas that I came up with and thought was original already existed. In this modern world I just feel like everything already been invented, new invention is just an add on to the previously existed one. It raise the question of "Is it harder to come up with original idea in this time period?".
