Rearranging

today I discover that I have the blog setup incorrectly so I have to fix EVERYTHING on it. which I decided it would be easy to just transfer all the information to a new blog, which I did that is why the published date is all incorrect but at least it in the right formal now.

Modeling attempted

I still cant figure out this modeling thing. I tried to use insert reference picture like in the helmet lesson but the image isn't lining up perfectly so it doesn't help much so I'll find some help during digital evolution club but at least i have everything else done

Almost done

I just finish writing the evaluation and just wrapping up since I don't have a scanner I just have to go scan it at school and hope Mr, Cornell let me do some final adjustment because I need to ask some question about the web site layout it just got change so many time so I'm a little confuse. i hope I at least did ok on this. I guess knowing that this is something i will be graded on kind of holding me back, I wonder how did everyone else do?

oh I still need to change to blog cover picture. it still saying Sci Vis

Final drawing

I have finish my final drawing and it will be upload to to the blog later in the mean time time just gathering all the pages and uploading them on to the blog and organizing everything and doing all the written work.

I just quite behind on everything I didn't organize time every wisely at all for this project and this project structure is quite new to me so it was quite over whelming, so this I would say have been better, but I guess this is what it is. If I have a chance to redeem my self it the future project I promise it will be much better.

Mind map fix

today I was inform that the mind map I made earlier was not a mind map but it a flow map because I put arrow on to the line so I have to fix that so I change from using online mind map to making my own by hand on a paper because I believe that it more efficient for me to doodle down idea as I think about them rather than doing it online so I can work on it even without computer access. 

Final idea

after the detail sketch I decide that I wanted to do the doll model because that end up being my favorite sketch.

the doll right now it not much of a original idea so I need to come up with something to make it different than one that already existed so I want to incorporate some kind of intractable feature to it. 

Choosen ideas

After all the doodling I have come to my final three choice.
- Doll model : inspire by toy catalog
-Mug design : Because I got a mug for my birthday and i think it be very cool to have your own unique mug
- Phone case : I figure you can come up with an interesting design because phone case available right now in retail are not that interesting.

so I will do a more detail plan for them later.

and I really like the Japanese theme when I was looking thing up on Pinterest so my idea will be in Japanese inspired style.

Decision

After all the thinking about the idea i decide to go with a small toy doll. It was inspire by the Japanese anime art style and recently i been looking at toy catalog and saw many many toy / doll and I figure that I want to make one of my own style. I don't know what "problem"this product would solve though I suppose it more for entertainment purposes. I just kind of using the idea that I like.

Ideas

After the mind map I begin on my ideas thumbnail sketches. I find it quite difficult to come up with a more complex I ideas and that everything I seem to be able to think of already existed. I like the idea I come up with but it just feel unoriginal.

I completed my mind map today and have put it on the blog. Which I did using lucid chart in the google doc. this help give me direction and limited the ideas down so there will be less thing to look at which is helpful in decision making process.

It ansimple website that allow you can submit your design online and you can order it and they will print it for you using 3ds printer using the material you selected. you can also started a business by selling your design online people and buy your design if other are interested in buying it. 

So for this project we will be designing a product inspire by this website

this project sound more interesting to be so I choose to do this over SciVis project.
